Who We Are

Legacy Consulting Group is an ACDBE and HUB certified small business that was founded on the guest-focused principles of inclusivity, trust, and teamwork. Brittany Williams Leverett (President and C.E.O) founded Legacy Consulting Group LLC to provide exceptional consulting services to companies who are looking to improve their external and internal partnerships, revamp their current processes, and create/implement new projects and processes.

With the energy and passion that Brittany has for project management, exceptional product selection, and innovation, LCG most recently has secured a contract as the duty free retailer in the Orlando Melbourne International Airport. Brittany and the team hope to expand the company’s duty free services to other regional airports across the United States.

Brittany has always been passionate about helping and serving others and finds one of the ways she can do this is through her duty free space.  With over 12 years of project management, people management and consulting experience, Brittany aims to help Legacy Consulting Group grow, and eventually take on more clients to help coach and consult them in their business and life ventures.

Our History

Legacy Consulting Group LLC was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur, Brittany Williams Leverett, as a continuation of the legacy her late Aunt Claudia started for her in Melbourne, FL. The two women had the once in a lifetime opportunity to open their own duty free concession in Melbourne, FL. Through hard work, long days (and nights), the two were able to successfully open their store in February 2019. After a successful 2019 season, the pandemic swept the airline and airport retail businesses, causing Claudia and Brittany to temporarily close their doors in March 2020. The two knew a terminal expansion was on the horizon for the store in 2022 so they buckled down and continued to go back and forth with ideas while weathering the pandemic. 

Suddenly, their lives were changed forever. Claudia was hospitalized in late September 2020 and passed away suddenly in her home on October 9, 2020 in the arms of her best friend Deborah. Though some may have seen Claudia as just her aunt, she was so much more to Brittany. She was a friend, a second mom, a confidant, and a business partner. Brittany knew that her aunt wanted her to continue her legacy by pushing forward with the Melbourne contract and opening the store that the two of them dreamed about when they started working together in 2017. Brittany’s goal was to create a company that honored her aunt’s legacy and allowed her to carry the torch passed down to her.
